From Tesco’s community grant scheme
Wythenshawe Park Bee Club is delighted to announce it has bagged £4000 from Tesco’s Bags of Help community grant scheme.
Bags of Help is run in partnership with environmental charity Groundwork, and sees grants raised from the sale of carrier bags awarded to thousands of local community projects every year.
Since launching in 2015, it’s provided more than £40 million to over 9,700 local community projects.
Work will now begin on bringing the project to life.
With the'Engage with Bees' project.

Unlike high street honey our honey is unpasteurized retaining its highly beneficial properties.
Formed from the local fauna surrounding Wythenshawe park it offers a truly local aroma and flavour. Click here to read about the health benefits of natural honey
Honey can be purchased direct from the club Saturday 9:30am - 12:00 or out of hours via the wardens office next door. Also from the farm shop located within Wythenshawe park, open 11:30 - 16:00, Mon, Wed, Fri or contact us direct to make other arrangements.
We also now sell pure English bees wax candles, more details to follow soon.
